The new gearbox bearing housings are now fully machined and the assembly process for the fully reconditioned gearboxes has just started today. The Renault TSF turret recently recovered, is being very carefully stripped down and the parts required are being cleaned and prepared for assembly to our existing turret. We have completed our preparation for the turret race assembly for the Renault FT. The component parts are ready to be assembled into the bearing chain for the turret race. Thanks to our friends at El Goloso for their invaluable help with this.
Research into further instrumentation required for our SdKfz. 222 A and SdKfz. 223 A & B has gone into overdrive this week.
