Jagdpanther 411 engine was run and tested successfully . Small adjustments are required for the carburettors, additional tweaking on the right steering clutch is required. The Wiking Div. Sd.Kfz.251, Kettenkrad and VW 166 Schwimmwagen are serviced and ready for the Open Day.
The Sd.Kfz.223 3.Serie received some attention this week where the metal antenna post tops were finally completed in readiness for the antenna frame. This will be covered in Inside Track in due course.
Work continues on the guest restrooms. The only section outstanding is the tiling for the floor.
The clearing up process has provided a wonderful reason to get rid of vast amounts of unwanted stuff. We have also gone through our book collection and have identified a good group of books which will be for sale at the Open Day. All proceeds from these sales will go to Kent Hospice.
