Zundapp KS 750, Sd.Kfz 260 / Sd.Kfz 261, Maybach NL38 TR

Holidays and Work Abroad but progress all the same

Two of the team are out this week but our work continues on the Maybach NL38 TR. The block is being cleaned. The inlet and outlet manifolds were collected from our normal pattern maker ready to be taken to our other source.

The chassis identification for the 801 Typ v late pattern German armoured car is almost complete. See the most recent Inside Track piece for where we are at present. This work fortunately does not hold up the chassis repair process which will take months given its poor condition.

The Zundapp KS 750 is now totally stripped and is ready for bead blasting. We have had an old friend, a seasoned expert on these machines, focus almost exclusively on the sidecar combination for the past 3 weeks. We will begin the rebuild soon.
