Zundapp KS750, Maybach NL38TR and HL42, Solex IFF 32 carburettor, Renault FT, Willys

This week covered a lot of ground. The Willys carburettor was rebuilt due to ethanol damage and is now ‘running like a bird’. The Zundapp KS 750 sidecar chassis will be changed to an original one in stock. This will be soda blasted together with the bike frame and cycle parts. The carburettor for the second Ausf.A armoured car – the Sd.Kfz 223 3 Serie is being drawn in £D pending printing!!! This is being done due to the lack of original examples of which we have only one.

The Maybach NL38TR and HL42 are now largely rebuilt. The NL38 TR engine is awaiting the paint analysis before final assembly of the ancillaries on to the engine.

The seats for the Sd.Kfz 222 and Sd.Kfz 223 Ausf A are now fully restored and primed awaiting top coat and upholstery.

The Renault FT was collected today by the RAF and is en route to France for an event with NATO.
