Most of the week was taken in preparing for and participating in the Amiens 100 WW1 event at the Tank Museum last Wednesday. Once we had returned from the Tank Museum there was the inevitable time lost putting the vehciles and the many small items away used at these events.
The planning for the second Jagdpanther continues. The crane and hoist that will be required this time around are being identified. Dates being mulled as to what gets done first etc etc.
The armoured cars Sd.Kfz 223 and 222 continue to be prepared. The chassis of the late Typ v is still away being chemically cleaned. This should be ready for collection next week. Purchases of items for the armoured cars continues. A number of really rare items for them have been recently secured via the internet.
