The list of items requiring attention was drawn up just after the event when we discovered a few problems. Luckily none were serious. 2 fuel line issues – one with the Sd.Kfz.251 and the 1 Ton Zugmaschine ‘Demag’. Both required a thorough cleaning of the carburettor and replacement of the fuel lines due to ethanol based fuel damage.
The team rolled on to the Horch Typ 901 Kabriolett Kfz 21. This also required fuel line attention and is now in good shape. Next week will be the focus of the TWC Sd.Kfz.223 given that our own Sd.Kfz.223 is no longer being worked on. This is essential while the team still have the Sd.Kfz.223 in mind.
Our Sd.Kfz.223 still requires brown camouflage to complete the picture. The drawings for the aluminium 3D printing of the carburettor inlet trumpet are also nearing completion. This will be taken care of once we have the TWC Sd.Kfz.223 moved on.
All of our old PCs, keyboards and monitors have been disposed of. This was taking up a huge amount of space which is now free.
Have a good weekend
