This week saw the engine hatches fitted to the Sd.Kfz.223 3.Serie. This process will be followed for the TWC Sd.Kfz.223 shortly. The U bolts chassis to Aufbau body fixings are in the process of being fitted. The fenders for both our Sd.Kfz.223 3.Serie and that of the TWC are currently at the blasters. These will be completed over the weekend to be collected on Monday. They will then be primed and put aside while the front fenders are worked on.
Our flare pistol collection continues with the delivery of the Walther Leuchtpistole 34 earlier this week. Another original width indicator was also received this week. This will join the others in our collection to be used depending on the design on the armoured cars or the two Sd.Kfz.250 when they are under the focus of the teams.
We also took delivery of a case for the auxiliary optic for the 8,8cm Pak 43. This is in good condition but will require attention from our in house specialists to bring it back to a perfect as original state.
The drawings for the Australian LP1 carrier are continuing. Our idea of what we are missing is growing by the day. We will soon be at the point of recording the missing and additional detail from the other few examples in Australia. This will hopefully be put into process in the next few weeks.
Have a good weekend
