Instrument panel plaques drawn and readied for acid etching – gear shift and 2 and 4 wheel drive selector plaques. Original Enstort Nach Gruppe I plate ready to be fitted to the instrument panel. The seat for the turret Schutzschild is in place. The seat cushion is one of the next items on the list. The gas mask holders and straps have all been completed as per the correct 4.Serie specifications. The research and images have been posted in this weeks Inside Track journal. No sign of the auto electrician – we shall have to wait for next week for the maiden voyage of the Sd.Kfz.222!

The water bottle holders correct for this Sd.Kfz.222 4.Serie are now underway. We are awaiting a new delivery of rivets to assist the project. The last of the original Gurtkasten MG Belt holders for the Sd.Kfz.222 4.Serie have been cleaned and conserved. These are in great original condition and should be fitted next week all going well!
Final steps for the insulation of the new exhibition hall are being taken. This will be completed early next week.
