The smaller details and fittings within the Schutzschild turret of the Sd.Kfz.222 are now fully behind us with the only exception being the radio and Umformer (radio transformer/power pack) rack. This will be fitted once the Schutzschild is back on the body. The Schutzschild turret is planned to be fitted next week.
The auto electrician now only requires one more day to complete the wiring in the Sd.Kfz.222 4.Serie. There has been an overrun in the time required for this project but this will ensure a more straightforward process when dealing with the Sd.Kfz.223 projects.
We have secured another Aushilfsrichtmittel 38 for the Pak 43. This is in slightly better condition than the example we acquired a few weeks ago. The combination of the best parts of this example should result in a good addition to the list of components for the 8,8cm Pak 43 we plan to restore.
