This weekend’s WW1 Interactive Event here at the Weald Foundation resulted in a lot of preparation being done on the Renault FT and TSF. Refuelling, water top up up and engine mount securing. The venue has been in focus for the past 2 weeks and this week saw the refreshment area being readied, the WW1 Char Weitz Remorque trailer was brought up for our attendees to see on Saturday. The weather has been kind to us thus far.
The Sd.Kfz.223 3.Serie Schutzschild turret has been repaired, cracks which have appeared over time have been attended to. The turret ring will be looked at when it is again mounted in the Sd.Kfz.223 body. All the turret guides have been completed for the turret of the Sd.Kfz.223 for the Weald Foundation and the TWC.
