Progress continued this week with both Sd.Kfz.223 le.Pz.Sp.Wg. German Armoured Cars of WWII. The door hinges are being prepared for assembly. These are quite distinct for the Sd.Kfz.223 3.Serie. as compared to the other armoured cars within the le.Pz.Sp.Wg. range. The slatted armoured cover for the TWC Sd.Kfz.223 was freed up from many years of corrosion and has been fitted to the rear of the engine bay.
Work on the fittings for the visor interiors progresses. Friday ended with work on the locking handles for these visors.
We were visited late in the afternoon by Erik van den Dungen of the Oorlogsmuseum Overloon and Militracks. The discussion centred on whether there was a possibility that Jagdpanther 411 would be able to make across to Militracks at some point.
