The Sd.Kfz.223 3.Serie is progressing well. The instrument panel has been fitted to the designated area, the large radio rack is now in place housing the 30 W.S. and the smaller radio rack for the receiver is also in place. Both of these racks now have their Umformer power packs now fitted alongside or within the radio rack as in the case of the 30 W.S. The current focus is on the original and very rare radio operators seat which requires a base quite different from that within the Sd.Kfz.223 4.Serie Fort Benning example.
The Renault TSF is having new steering liners fitted. These were original liners but have deteriorated given the amount of use the TSF has experienced since completion in 2018. All items requiring lubrication have been addressed allowing for years of operational life here at the Weald Foundation.
